Joe Deluxe

Our Values

We are ‘Joe Deluxe’ – a band of experienced musicians that play a rich blend of blues, blues-rock, soul, funk and roots inspired music.

Our repertoire spans the deep, earthy blues of Muddy Waters and Junior Wells, the soulful roots and acoustic blues of Taj Mahal and Eric Bibb, and the contemporary blues sounds of Keb’ Mo’ and Robben Ford. We also draw inspiration from the guitar-driven styles of Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton and John Mayer, the country-blues storytelling of Steve Earle, and the smooth jazz-rock sophistication of Steely Dan, Larry Carlton and the Steve Miller Band.

Add to that the irresistible funk and horn-driven grooves of Tower of Power and the soulful, funky guitar style of Johnny “Guitar” Watson, and you get a sound that moves effortlessly between laid-back blues, driving rock, swinging grooves and soulful, feel-good rhythms.

It’s music played with passion, personality and a genuine love of the craft.
